So again I was unexpectedly drawn to the fact that I will be having dinner in this hidden gem in the heart of Davao City with my food buddy. She just called me, as she always does, to accompany her in this interesting find. So we got a little lost along the way, but it was fine and we were able to get there just exactly for dinner.

Wholefood plant-based cafe offering an Australian-influenced and modern Asian menu. Est. 2015. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-9:00pm.

My personal favorites are the tempeh blt sub and unbaked brownies. So good! The staff are so accommodating and friendly, too. They’re very well-trained and it’s obvious that they value what the cafe is all about, which is promoting and advocating veganism, animal rights and environmentalism! – According to one of the customer.

5. The Green Bounty Kitchen SM Lanang

Chanced upon this new store at SM Ecoland. I’m so happy there are more vegan choices in the city. we tried their quesadilla- garlic and cheese and chimichurri! And their Davao pomelo salad. Sadly, the shrimp in the salad are not fresh.

I was still full so I was not able to get their rice bowls. Will try the organic chicken.

They have a nice painting display of plants. I just wish they had real plants for their interiors though.

Had a really pleasant time with the food! Lengua (One of my faves 🙂 ) did not disappoint, and their Paella was actually pretty nice. Will definitely come back to eat and try the other dishes on the menu!
